Napoleon Bonaparte used two litres of Eau de Cologne every day as his portable bathing kit, so when our friend Arthur McBain played Marshall Marchand in Ridley Scott's film, Napoleon, we made him this authentic 19th Century style cologne of his own to wear while he was filming.

We created it with a luxurious blend of flowers, herbs, citrus fruits, woods and animal friendly musk (Ambrettolide) and ambergris (Ambrofix) to make it smell as fresh as a recently opened two-litre bottle of imperial cologne.
