Complicated Shadows is suitable for vegans.

"Complicated Shadows is the last and the darkest scent in 4160Tuesdays cloud series. It was named after the Elvis Costello song, and it was released in 2021. So yes, it comes with baggage. It smells like a year you made it through but would never repeat. The notes say sandalwood, narcissus, iris, and shade, which is definitely not a typo.

There’s a dry, reflective quality to this one. It doesn’t rush to impress. It just lingers like something you haven’t fully processed. You get the narcissus and the iris first. Cool, pale, maybe even aloof. Then the sandalwood comes through. Not creamy, but dusty and worn.

There’s no sweetness, no sparkle, that’s what I like about it, though. It doesn’t wallow. It doesn’t pretend. It’s the scent equivalent of looking out the window for longer than you meant to. Quiet, textured, self-aware. Complicated shadows isn’t here to lift you up.  It’s here to sit next to you and say, 'Yeah, same'." - Hülya, Elevated Classics

"This fragrance gives a great sense of comfort and peaceful thoughts without being incredibly vacant/non-existent. Perfect for the spring, but still light enough for the summer as well. Definitely a hit." - Blacktundras
