The story of Brigadoon, the 1947s musical by Lerner and Loewe, was named after a real place Brig o'Doon, a bridge over the River Doon.
In it, a mist descends and the two heroes find themselves in a village which only appears ever 100 years. There are songs and dances and it disappears again.
Way back in 2016 we made several versions of a fragrance for a distillery in Speyside, to evoke a spot at the edge of the River Spey by a stone bridge.

This bottle disappeared for 10 years and we found it again. It's not exactly the same as the previous Brig o'Doon and as it had obviously been lost in the mists of time, only to reappear because we really wanted it to (see film) we thought it had better had a different name.
And here it is! We found a litre of concentrate, so don't worry about it vanishing again too quickly.
