Blaze of Glory To-Do List Collection

Whether you like to tick every item off it every day, or you use it as a means to get your thoughts out of your head and onto paper to then offer direction throughout the day, a to-do list is helpful. And ones that look as beautiful as these are even better.

There are four designs. As you probably know by now, Sarah created each of the Blaze of Glory fragrances with the aim that their botanical powers will inspire and alter the reality of our daily lives for the better. So what kind of day you’d like to have may help you choose which of the four fragrances you wear, which will then in turn inform you of the to-do list to call into action.

Floating In Space: a list of lovely things to do when you have a moment. Looking forward to them helps to increase our serotinin levels, so it's a list to read to cheer ourselves up. Claudia Hammond also says in her book, Overwhelmed, that writing down a list of kind or pleasant things you intend to do, or did that day, is also a great way to calm us down and remind us that life has its good bits.

These Are The Good Days: Sarah got the name from a reel by Professor Hannah Fry which you can watch here. Repeat these five words and it raised your base level of happiness. The fragrance is intended to help us make progress through our daily tasks, and this it to write them down before going to bed so we they don't keep us awake at night. One of our students cannot wait for the fragrance because she says that she and all her ADHD friends will be drneching themselves in it. 

Down To Us: this is the name of the problem solving fragrance, and here is the matching to-do list of problems to be solved, things that need changing, deciding and facing up to. They need a creative approach, to be looked at differently; they need ideas. Sarah had to stop wearing this while she was approaching the end of her book, and switch to These Are The Good Days, because she kept thinking of new things to write about instead of editing and proof reading the words she already had. Anyway, this is a list for big stuff.

Equilibrium: it's a strange fragrance that stops you in your tracks. It deserved an equally unusual to-do list, one with no lines and no tick-boxes. Equilibrium takes us to a mental place where we identify the questions which need asking, before we switch to Down To Us to start answering them. Sometimes we know that we can't stay exactly where we are in life, but the direction to take is not evident. Wear this one until the fog lifts, and draw the diagrams, write the flow charts and decision trees, draw sketching and write poems until you find clarity.
