Equilibrium 100ml

This wasn’t part of the Heaven-Earth-Hell trilogy, but it was one of the catalysts for the project. I was working on the central ‘sun’ of a fragrance to capture a moment in Joanne Harris’s novel, Peaches for Monsieur le Curé: baking, peaches, a distant fire and the muddy riverbank. I had the ancient four elements in mind: air, water, fire, earth. I was going to build the Earth fragrance around it, but I found that I didn’t want to change it at all. It was just right, made with only four materials, weirdly captivating. It seemed right to allow it into the recently expanded quartet as Limbo, the underworld, which is appropriate because that moment in the book - no spoilers - describes one of the characters being trapped in a basement. I think you’ll just have to trust me, because I realise that I’m not really selling it.

Bottles will be signed and numbered.
