Cover Story 15ml

The aroma of a London allotment, home to a family of foxes, many herbs and vegetables and hay bales with jasmine, roses and geraniums growing around the borders.

The name? Well this is the fragrance to wear to pretend you’ve been gardening when really you were Up To No Good!

During April on the Scenthusiasm Patron Zooms we developed a word for adding Hedione to a blend of herbs and flowers, the way Jean-Claude Ellena did for his Jardin series for Hermes. We called it gardening.

As in, “I took this floral blend I did last year and gardened it.” It is inspired by a real cover story; someone whose real story only came out at his funeral. It turned out he hadn’t been down the allotment after all…
