Courteous Revellations

Courteous Revelations is an edition of five bottles, to be made with the last of our 2018 ambergris tincture, and our favourite fine ingredients. It can never be made again.

60% ambergris tincture, made with organic grain ethanol.

40% perfume concentrate including vanilla absolute from 12 year aged pods, sandalwood absolute, Bulgarian rose otto, orange flower absolute, Malawi vetiver, saffron attar and ambrette seed absolute.

By strict UK and EU definition, it will be 100% natural, and sustainably sourced.

As it contains an extract of whale excretion, it is not technically vegan.

A note from Sarah:

"Originally I posted this on 1st April, April Fool's Day, but as I do own all these materials I decided to make it real. My determination strengthened when LinkedIn took the post down declaring it a "scam". They reinstated it when I reminded them of the date. Now it hangs in the balance. It's Schroedinger's Scent. However, the tincture is ready, and I'm making it. It's pure British humour, real, yet still funny while deadly serious, but possibly entirely invented. It will be ready by the end of 2026."
