Vanilla, bergamot and light amber woods. The Sexiest Scent on the Planet (IMHO), named somewhat in jest, is uncomplicated and friendly. It’s our best-selling fragrance, along with Hammersmith Tea and Biscuits. 

A dash of bergamot, a soft hint of creamy vanilla, velvety smooth woods, musk and ambergris make for a dreamily decadent ‘your skin but oh, so much better’ affair. Like wearing a magical potion made of lemon meringue pie and fancy pants, if they don’t fall at your feet after a whiff of this, they aren’t worth knowing.

All of our fragrances have a story. Here is the story of The Sexiest Scent on the Planet (IMHO):

We first made The Sexiest Scent on the Planet (IMHO) in 2013 for a Chelsea Fringe event with Gin Garden at the Hoxton Hotel. It was specially designed to be smooth, unassuming, quiet, sensual, and to stay close to the skin. The plan was to then add gin botanicals to make a gin-inspired scent. But at a special event for two VIP guests, one of whom was a Tatler beauty editor, the fragrance was tried on its own. The Tatler beauty editor liked it, as did many of the other visitors, and she declared it ‘the sexiest scent ever!’ And so it came to be named. IMHO stands for in my humble opinion, and it's meant ironically. 

In the world of perfumery, “sillage” refers to the distance a perfume will travel from the wearer. The Sexiest Scent on the Planet Ever (IMHO) - after the first waft of lemon meringue pie-like lickability - has very low sillage, on purpose. You have to get up close to smell it. This is a good thing.

It was just for the event, we hadn't actually intended to launch it, but it was such a success, we went ahead, and it's become our best selling fragrance worldwide ever since.

People often ask if we believe it, do we really think it’s the sexiest scent ever? We replied, "That's just its name! It symbolises British humour. It may well be a very sexy scent, but it wouldn’t be very British of Sarah to acknowledge it and name it accordingly, unless in jest.
