This is the Custard element of a trio of rhubarb and custard perfumes, inspired by the childhood chewy sweet inspired by the pudding.

This one is the sophisticated creamy vanilla, made rather more grown-up than the usual sweet vanilla concoctions, with the help of tiny drop of intense tobacco absolute and richly rounded hay.

Vanilla absolute, the real thing made from vanilla orchid pods, is in very short supply and according to one of our classically trained perfumer friends, we're one of the few companies in the UK still to have some in the cupboard.
