Our hankies are mostly for wearing scent that is not recommended for your skin. As we were saying, it's only relatively recently that people put perfume on their skins at all - so now there are loads of regulations about what you can and can't use in them.

Before the regulations came in, perfumers could use anything - ANYTHING - that smelled good. So some of our older vintage scents, delightful as they are, might contain materials which are currently banned by the EU. But we wanted to find a way to help you wear them. This is it.

We also love hankies because they're greener than paper. Ours are 100% organic cotton, made by nice people who get a fair wage in India. Wash them and wash them again until they're lovely and soft. You can also use them for blowing your nose and removing soot from strangers' eyes.
