We don't make candles; it's such a faff. That said, Harry Sherwood, who found us and asked nicely if he could work here for a year, decided that it would be a wonderful idea and volunteered to make them with our materials. We were aiming for the whole Christmas-in-a-box fragrance and we think we cracked it.
50, that's all. Don't loiter if you want one, because considering the effort and the beautiful materials in it (which are far too good to set fire to IMHO) it's a huge bargain.
Here's Harry's description:
"Our candle is one of contrasts: between cooling pine and red-hot cinnamon; between smooth benzoin and angular frankincense. We’ve based it around an ingredient which we don’t think gets enough attention in the perfumery world: Davana. A small shrub found mainly in the East, davana has powdery blue-silver leaves with an incredibly juicy spiced liqueur aroma."
Not only did he make the candles, Harry also took the photos.
