This year we have three supermods for the January sale, perfume strength bargains which happen to be taking up space in the studio after last year's projects resolved themselves.
50ml bottles of perfume strength, at a super bargain price.
Woods, amber and a drop or two of raspberry, Amberama is a smooth oriental blend, with a base of resinous balsams.
We were after a balanced blend of a whole bunch of flowers, so there are notes of roses, white flowers, lilies and in particular iris. Iris is our new favourite scent, and we've blended it with a woodsy base.
It is inspired by a 1960s Dutch poster we found at a fleamarket and that now hangs in our studio at the top of the stairs. Don't eat it, bit do wear it.
This amber is has a bright burst of citrus fruits on top. It's our perfume tribute to West Side Story, for Leonard Bernstein's anniversary year: spicy, hot and wild. It's got a tropical feel: fresh fruits and resins, settling down to tangy sweetness.
(Google "West Side Story Mambo" but be warned that you will be singing it all day, and probably dancing too.)
